  • Dishwasher instructions:

I highly recommend hand washing all handmade pottery if you want it to last a long time. My family has been dishwashing my pottery regularly for years and it's still in good shape. But personally, I hand wash only.

    Microwave instructions:

All of my pottery is perfectly microwave safe. If I ever start putting luster on my pots (overglaze that contains actual metal) I will be sure to warn against ever microwaving those pieces. As of April 12, 2023, I do not use lusters, therefore my pottery can be safely microwaved.

    Oven instructions:

Most pottery is oven-safe as long as you don't shock the piece by putting it in an already pre-heated oven. I don't know why you'd want to put any of my piece in the oven, but if you do, please put it in the oven from room temperature while the oven preheats so that it can slowly increase temperature. Putting pottery in, say, the broiler for instance, will cause the piece to eventually crack and break because the temperature change is too hard on the clay. (Ahem... I learned this the hard way.)

    Stovetop instructions:

NEVER. Do not place pottery over an open flame. Don't do it. It will break. I warned you.
